This vineyard is characterised by its high altitude at the Calchaquie Valley the highest in the world. The area has especially dry weather conditions with minimum rainfall during the year. Maximum annual rainfall is estimated at 150 ml. The soil is rocky and sandy.

The wine has a strong character with rich soft tannins. It shows a cobination of spices and vanilla aromas. The bold, rich texture in the mouth exhibites a long and delicate aftertaste.
