La Pleiade 2018 - Domaine Cambrien is a unique collaboration between Michel Chapoutier (Rhône Valley) and Ron Laughton (Jasper Hill winery in Australia). The name Domaine Cambrien pays homage to the ancient (Cambrian period) soils of Heathcote, Victoria, which are over 500 million years old. 

This wine is made from 100% Shiraz grapes, fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged for 12 months in new French oak casks. The 2018 vintage has a deep magenta appearance and complex aromas of red berries and spices. On the palate, it exhibits outstanding elegance and power, combining minerality and precision, perfectly reflecting the unique Heathcote terroir. This wine benefits from further cellaring and can be enjoyed for up to twenty years. It pairs perfectly with beef and venison
