Cremant D'Alsace Brut Reserve - Emile Beyer is a wonderful sparkling wine made using the traditional method, from the village of Eguisheim in the enchanting Alsace region. The history of the Beyer family and its involvement in winemaking dates back to 1580 and spans 14 generations to the present day. In 1837, Antoine Beyer bought an old winery in the village of Eguisheim, just outside Colmar, and the rest is history. The estate has been certified organic since 2005 and biodynamic since 2016.
This wine is made from Pinot Blanc (40%), Pinot Auxerrois (50%) and Chardonnay (10%). The harvest is manual and takes place when the grapes reach full maturity. The vinification and maturation process is exactly the same as in Champagne. In order to preserve the natural freshness, we do not have malolactic fermentation and for additional complexity, the wine remains on its lees for more than 3 years, longer than many champagnes.
Cremant D'Alsace Brut Reserve - Emile Beyer has a pale yellow color with golden highlights and persistent bubbles. Aromas of fresh apples and pears, notes of brioche, yeast and minerality. In the mouth it is dry, soft and round. Long aftertaste with aromas of autolysis.
Excellent aperitif for all occasions but you can also pair it perfectly with seafood, white meats, salads and cheeses such as Brie and Camembert.
